
Yoga Foundations
Join a friendly and inclusive community for an 8-class workshop series of mindful movement through progressive foundational yoga designed to build a complete yoga practice from the ground up. Each week, you'll learn new poses, proper alignment, and how to support your practice with props — layering steadily on what you've learned so far, until you've built a full, confident vocabulary of foundational poses. No experience necessary — just commit to the series and watch your practice grow, week by week. Ideal for beginners and those who were never taught yoga alignment, or have taken a break from yoga and want to get back into it the right way.

What to expect:
We start slow with the basics. We teach new poses every week adding onto what you already know. Each week you will receive handouts with pictures of poses, the name, and the proper alignment so you may practice at home. We will learn 69 poses, both seated, standing, and supine (on our backs). This course series does not include hand balances.​

​This workshop runs for 9 weeks with 1 week off halfway through. During that week, we encourage you to bring your yoga practice to your mat at home, building a lifelong habit of stretching and strengthening your mind and body.
